ABOUT: The Arizona Association of Defense Counsel (AADC) is a nonprofit organization comprised of defense attorneys who practice primarily in the area of civil defense litigation. For the past 22 years, the AADC has organized the Barry Fish Memorial Golf Tournament to raise money to fight Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. This year the golf benefit will be at Top Golf, with the net proceeds again going to The ALS Association Arizona Chapter.
Barry Fish was a colleague of AADC and a victim of ALS. Since there is no cure for ALS, money raised from the golf tournament will help fight the disease, in memory of Barry, our colleague and friend. The ALS Association is the only not-for-profit health organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS through research, patient and community services, public education, and advocacy — in providing help and hope to those facing the disease in the community.
